Let’s come out of our comic zone and talk about the real-life Iron Man, Elon Reeve Musk.

Elon Musk is a South-Africa born American technical entrepreneur, a brilliant engineer, an investor, an inventor, and a businessman. He’s that infinity stone of our world whose vision is going to change the way we see everything. He believes that he can take this era of transportation to a whole another level. His exceptional vision (to look beyond what is visible), motivation and attitude drive him to be one of the most influential people in the world.

 Early Life

Elon Musk used to have a strong passion for reading since his childhood. He used to read for about 5 hours every day.

He coded his first game (Blastar) when he was 12, using Commodore VIC-20 computer and sold it for $500.

He moved to Canada to attend Canada’s University when he was 17 so that he could focus on his goals more and avoid mandatory service in the South African military.

In 1992, he studied business and physics at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with an undergraduate degree in economics and stayed for a second bachelor’s degree in Physics.

He’s been married twice to the same person and has sacrificed his family life for his goals and ambitions.

Musk has founded many companies and is also a CEO of most of them right now. Here is his list of few companies:

Zip 2

Musk is the co-founder of Zip2. He and his brother started the web software company in 1995 which developed and marketed an Internet city for the newspaper publishing industry. He wanted to become CEO, but he couldn’t because none of the board members allowed it. After the sale, he received $22M from his 7% share.

X.com

Elon is the co-founder of X.com which is an online financial service and e-mail payment company. After one year, the company merged with Confinity and was renamed as PayPal. It was one of the world’s first online bank.

Space Exploration Technologies Corporation, a private American aerospace manufacturer was founded in 2002. The man behind its foundation was no one but Elon Musk. He is also the CEO of the company. The company aimed at revolutionizing space technology.

Tesla is an American automotive and energy company which manufactures electric cars and also manufactures Solar Panels using its SolarCity subsidiary. It was set up in 2003. Later on, Elon Musk became the CEO of the company. He only takes $1 a year from the company.

It is an infrastructure and tunnel construction company founded by Elon in 2016. Its headquarters is in Hawthorne, California. He came up with this idea when he got stuck in traffic and the first tunnel will start on the SpaceX campus.
